Delete your account

Deleting your Words account permanently removes the account and the learning data associated with it. This action cannot be undone.

Delete from the app

Open Words and go to Settings.

Select Account, then Delete Account.

Review the information and confirm deletion.

Pre-launch notice

The public release of Words will include this in-app deletion option. Until then, deletion questions can be sent to support@example.com. This placeholder address will be replaced before launch.

What will be deleted

Your Words account and sign-in profile
Saved progress, review history, quiz results, and streaks
Bookmarks and other account-linked preferences
Other personal data associated with the account, unless retention is legally required

Subscriptions

Deleting your Words account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel an active subscription separately in your Apple or Google account settings.

Limited retention

Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, or legal compliance. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
